Arun Chalotra is a London-based designer from Wolverhampton working through furniture and objects.

His work is driven by an ongoing curiosity with raw shapes and material, exploring their translation into furniture with structural purpose.

Informed by layered cultural influences, his work reflects an ongoing dialogue between inherited traditions and contemporary form.

Prior to establishing his independent practice, he spent five years working in commercial furniture and lighting design, collaborating with global brands including Soho House and Soho Home.

Alongside his studio work, he uses photography as a way of observing, and understanding the materials and landscapes that informs his work. His photographic work has been published internationally, including a feature in Vogue India.
