Arun Chalotra is a London-based designer from Wolverhampton working through furniture and objects.

His work explores identity, geometry, and material memory. Grounded in his mixed heritage, his practice bridges a multi-generational lineage of Punjabi wood and metalcraft with contemporary British design.

Informed by this dialogue, his work reflects an ongoing relationship between inherited traditions and contemporary form.

Prior to establishing his independent practice, he spent five years working in commercial furniture and lighting design, collaborating with global brands including Soho House and Soho Home.

Alongside his studio work, he uses photography as a way of observing and understanding the materials and landscapes that inform his work. His photographic work has been published internationally, including a feature in Vogue India.
