Arun Chalotra is a London-based artist and designer from Wolverhampton working through furniture and objects.

He works instinctively through making and is drawn to how elements meet and hold, using geometry and material to form clear, essential relationships.

Informed by layered cultural influences and a mixed Indian–English heritage, his work reflects an ongoing dialogue between inherited traditions and contemporary form.

Prior to establishing his independent practice, he spent five years working in commercial furniture and lighting design, collaborating with global brands including Soho House and Soho Home.

Alongside his studio work, he uses photography as a way of observing, and understanding the materials and landscapes that informs his work. His photographic work has been published internationally, including a feature in Vogue India.
