Arun Chalotra is a London-based artist and designer from Wolverhampton working through furniture and objects.

His practice centres on restraint, heritage, and structural clarity. Working instinctively through making, he refines each piece through proportion, geometry, and material - paring forms back to their essential relationships.

Informed by layered cultural influences and a mixed Indian–English heritage, his work reflects an ongoing dialogue between inherited traditions and contemporary form. He explores it through structure and material - allowing refined shapes, clear geometries, and material contrast to hold quiet but important conversations within each piece.

A commitment to high craft underpins the practice, ensuring that conceptual intent is carried through material resolution and construction.

Prior to establishing his independent practice, he spent five years working in commercial furniture and lighting design, working with global brands including Soho House and Soho Home.

Alongside his studio work, he maintains a photography practice that informs his sensitivity to composition, light, and atmosphere. His photographic work has been published internationally, including a feature in Vogue India.
